The partners of RBM LLP are pleased to announce that Scotty Amos has been appointed to a second consecutive term as Treasurer for the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. The appointment will be announced at the Chamber's annual banquent.
Scotty is a partner with RBM LLP and has extensive experience in sales and transactions taxes and income tax planning, consulting and compliance. Scotty holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama, with a major in accounting, and a Masters of Accountancy from Auburn University. Scotty worked for the international accounting firm of KPMG prior to starting his own firm in 2006 and merging it with RBM in 2007.
Scotty has worked closely with the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce for 5 plus years and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the last two years. Scotty is a 2007 graduate of the Chamber's Leadership Program where he most recently served as the program's Chairperson.
Scotty is also a member of the Independence Bowl Foundation where he serves as the Membership Chairperson. Scotty and his wife, Lesley have been married for 8 years and have two children (Reagan and David). They enjoy attending Alabama football games and spending time with their friends and family.
Scotty has a reputation for his honesty, creativity, forward thinking and for being an extremely hard worker. He looks forward to serving the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce in his role as Treasurer.
